What’s the plan for Forkfest 2026?

It’s Forkfest, which means no one’s in charge, so we can’t tell you what to do. What you read on this site is not “official” because there is nothing official with Forkfest. Some people may come earlier (? it’s unclear if that is possible at this year’s event campground ?) than the dates shown here. It’s up to you.

In 2026, Forkfest will unofficially be Monday June 22nd through Monday June 29th.

Forkfest has traditionally been a small event relative to it’s big brother the Porcupine Freedom Festival. However this year the event is growing in size as Porcfest as it has traditionally been done isn’t happening. Forkfest however is, but appears to be getting larger in size than typical.

As we’ve had to break up with our traditional campground (Roger’s Campground in the White Mountains of NH) so far as we’re no longer allowed to vend and do other “festival” like activities the event is relocating to the North Waters Campground. Thanks to a recommendation by a fellow forkfester and the welcoming of the owner. The campground is much smaller than Roger’s Campground however and we’ll be effectively “taking over”. ~100 or so people can stay on the campground itself, but many will need to seek accommodations at a nearby campground and hotel in “spitting distance” of the main event campground (more info coming soon..). Priority is being given to vendors and folks organizing events. If that is you email the volunteer taking names to reserve space at North Waters Campground: Forkfest2026 at gmail dot com. Few hookups exist, so don’t expect any. Generators are OK. Also please include how many adults will be on your site, folks names, a phone number you can be reached at, and what style camping your planning to do. Example: Tent or RV (RVs must be under 26ft).

This is important: You DO NOT need to email the organizer to attend the event. They are ONLY taking names for those camping or needing a site to vend/throw up a tent for an event. The campground is charging $10 per person for those staying on site, but all others are welcome to attend and need NOT register.
